Our Kaha classes are split in to two components. We focus the first half of our Kaha class on a strength movement. This could range from compound lifts, like squats or deadlifts, olympic lifts or complex’s, like the snatch or clean and jerk, or it could be some bodyweight gymnastic movements, such as handstands or pull ups. The strength component is the core of these classes, but then will finish with a sweaty metcon. We call this part if our Kaha classes, our conditioning set.
Whilst your body is fatigued after doing a good strength set, we are required to push our bodies further for the remaining conditioning set in the class. This is where the workout becomes a mental challenge. It’s hard, but you feel so good afterwards!
